Today we are rolling out v3 of the Beast model lineup. Beast Nano, Beast Mini, and Beast Max all move to v3, with improvements across citations, reasoning, and reliability. Here is what is new.
URL citations in responses
When web search is activated, Beast now returns URL citations alongside its responses. As Beast draws on sources from the web to answer a request, the URLs it used come back as structured citations in the API response, so you can surface, verify, and link out to the original material. The same citations are displayed directly in the Chat UI, making it easy to see exactly where an answer came from.
Improved reasoning in Beast Max
We sharpened the reasoning ability of Beast Max, our flagship model. Its internal agents deliberate more effectively at inference time, producing stronger results on complex, multi-step, and analytical tasks.
Improved stability
A range of reliability improvements across the platform make Beast more stable and consistent, so responses come back dependably across both the Chat Completions and Responses APIs.
Every change above ships today across Beast Nano, Beast Mini, and Beast Max v3. See the full model specs and pricing, or try v3 now on the Portal.
